Major in Uri slips off a cliff while patrolling; succumbs to his injuries.
Ludhiana : Major Raghunath Ahlawat of 3 Para attached with 21 Kuman Rampore got injured after falling off a cliff during patrolling at the Rock post to Jani post in Uri. Major Ahlawat was leading a patrolling party along the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Sukhdar area in Uri when the incident occurred.
He was rushed to the sub-district hospital in Uri, where doctors declared him brought dead. A pall of gloom descended upon his unit and family after the unfortunate death of the braveheart.
