Related to farming community Mandeep Kumar breaks new ground by getting govt job

Chandigarh : With the fulfillment of the promise made by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide employment to the youth of the state, a new dawn came in the life of many youngsters with securing government jobs for them.


During the ceremony held at the Municipal Bhawan here recently, one could easily see the happiness from the faces of these youngsters who got the appointment letters. Mandeep Kumar, a resident of village Urdan of Rajpura tehsil, who came to get the appointment letter as Clark in Technical education department, said that he had completed his graduation in 2016. Meanwhile, his father passed away, due to which all farming responsibility came to his shoulders. From the beginning, Mandeep Kumar wanted to do a government job in Punjab after completed his studies, but due to the death of his father, he had to devote more time to farming. He did not give up his hard work and whenever he got time, he started to prepare for competitive  examinations.


 Mandeep had appeared in many papers for government jobs in the past years but the recruitment process could not be completed due to court cases or paper leaks. He said that  present state government has started the recruitment process for government jobs after assuming the charge and he secured the job of a clerk.


 Meanwhile another newly recruited Raswinder Singh of village Jakhepal of Sangrur district, while narrating his story, said that after doing M.Tech in 2009, he was serving as a lecturer in a private college, but due to the lesser wages of the college, he was facing difficulties to meet two ends. Seeing these difficulties, he was started YouTube channel preparing youth for competitive exams, which received a good response. Raswinder said that this government job will provide him financial freedom.


Raswinder, who also belongs to a farming family, extended words of gratitude towards the Punjab government for providing government jobs on a large scale and told that he also successfully passed the test for recruitment of IT Assistant of the Bureau of Investigation of the Punjab Police.
