Handing over of one Pakistan child to pak rangers by border security force in ferozepur sector
Ferozepur : On 01st July 2022 at about 1915 hrs, troops of 182 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector apprehended one Pakistani child (Age – appx 3 years), while he crossed the border and entered into Indian territory.
- The said child was unable to reveal anything and was kept under safe custody of BSF.
- As it was a case of being inadvertent crossing, BSF further approached Pak Rangers and at about 2145 hrs, said Pakistani child was handed-over to Pak Rangers as a goodwill gesture and on humanitarian ground.
- BSF always takes humane approach while dealing with inadvertent border crossers.
