Class XI students of Sacred Heart Convent School, bade adieu to Class XII students at a Grand Farewell function held in the school premises.
Ludhiana,27 March(Daljeet Singh Vicky) The programme started invoking a prayer to the Almighty.. A formal welcome note was accorded to the students by their mentors. A number of cultural items including Vogue Show, Jashn-e-sangeet, Grinning Games, Memories Enliven, Glimpses of school Journey, Expression of Emotions and dances like Rock and Roll were presented to mark the nostalgic moment which would go down the memory lane of the outgoing students who made their Alma-mater proud in various fields. Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria, the Principal, enlightened the students with her inspiring message and wished them every success in life. Students expressed their gratitude to the committed Management and hardworking teachers who moulded them all through their life at Sacred Heart campus and they also thanked the Principal /teachers for their support and guidance and they expressed their heartfelt emotions through a medley of songs.
During the function activities such as modeling and question-answer rounds were also conducted for Class XII . A ramp walk stole the show. The highlight of the function was the crowning of Miss Sacred Heart Arshpreet and Mr. Sacred Heart was Ayaan Malhotra, The other titles were- Mr Punctual - Paras, Miss Punctual - Harshita Bhalla, Mr Retro Prince - Pawan Baagla, Miss Dancing feet - Kanishka Ajmani, Mr Fitness Icon- Harshdeep, Mr Athlete- Navraj, Miss Helping hand- Kavya, Mr Helping Hand -Vishav Miss Beautiful Hair-Sandhya, Best Turban-Bachitter Singh, Mr Witty-Aryan, Mr. Studious-Deepanshu , Ms. Photogenic-Nandini and Ms. Gorgeous- Kadambari.
Emotions touched every heart during the 'Handing over Ceremony' when the school Principal along with the class teachers handed safely all the students of class XII to their parents. The moment aroused sentiments and brought tears into the eyes of teachers and students.
At the end of the function the Management presented a beautiful memento to all the students of class XII, wishing them that their dreams may take them to the corner of their smiles and to the highest of their hopes. The function concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. Afterwards, all relished a delicious lunch.
