Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39 Celebrated International Workers’ Day

Ludhiana,2 May(Daljeet Vicky) : Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39, Urban Estate, Ludhiana celebrated International Workers’ Day with enthusiasm and gratitude, recognizing the invaluable contributions of school ancillary staff and reaffirmed the school's commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation, respect, and solidarity within the school community.

The highlight of the day was a special assembly performance by students, featuring songs, dances, and skits that celebrated the spirit of labour and highlighted the significance of Labour Day. The school has always acknowledged and appreciated the contribution of its real workforce ‘the Supporting Staff’. The performances captivated the audience and expressed their gratitude to school management, staff & students.


As part of the celebration Tiny tots of Kindergarten presented handmade cards expressing their thanks and appreciation to them. A few games were also added to charm the occasion. On the occasion the teachers and the students presented gifts to the school Supporting Staff and the Charity Club of the school offered gifts to those workers who are engaged in the maintenance work of the school building on the school campus.

Principal Sr. Crispin Maria delivered a heartfelt message, highlighting her gratitude for the dedication and service of school ancillary staff. She expressed her gratitude to the staff and students for their enthusiastic participation in the Labour Day celebrations and reiterated the school's commitment to promoting respect, appreciation, and dignity for workers in all sectors.The Programme concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
